HAPDO applies a community-led, conflict-sensitive, and accountability-focused approach. Programs are designed with active participation of affected populations, guided by context analysis, and implemented using survivor-centered and rights-based methodologies. Feedback and complaints mechanisms ensure accountability to affected populations.
HAPDO was established to address urgent humanitarian needs while supporting long-term recovery, peacebuilding, and resilience for vulnerable communities affected by conflict, displacement, and climate-related shocks.
